A win, some placings and a lot of routine collected in Liege

(8.11.2015) Pius Schwizer competed with four horses at the CSI 4* in Liege (Belgium). With seven year old mare Electric Z he achieved a fine 4th place in the Youngster Tour finale and won the relay competition – together with Catherine Durello on Canelle. Also the other horses jumped very well and collected valuable experience at this indoor show, for instance Askaria 3. Balou Rubin R came 2nd in a 140 cm class and stayed clear in the 145cm speed class. For the first time Pius Schwizer rode Leonard de la Ferme CH in a 160 cm Grand Prix. The very talented Swiss Warmblood gelding did very well, he jumped in great style and had to light mistakes. „I do believe in this horse. Leonard can become an absolute top crack. He is still young and has not much experience.“ Reason for joy also gave Florence Seydoux who enjoyed several top placings with her two horses Starlette de Maillet und seven year odl Delphi. – Now it’s off to a highlight of the season: The big final of the Global Champions Tour in Doha (Qatar). Pius Schwizer will ride his top horses Giovanni vh Scheefkasteel and PSG Future. His actual 9th place in the overall standings means a great position to take on this challenge.
