(1.3.2015) Pius Schwizer was on a roll in Gothenburg. He achieved top results with all his three horses Toulago, Caretina de Joter and Anisette de Lassus. „They jumped just super. I am absolutely delighted and would like to say thank you to all my horse owners.“ 10th place with Toulago in the last World Cup Qualifier meant a last-minute ticket for the final in Las Vegas. „Let’s see if I am going to compete, I will make my mind up soon.“ Toulago proved to be in great form in his third show after his four months’ break: Just one sole pole fell, the very last in the jump-off of the World Cup. This competition was won by an other Swiss rider, Steve Guerdat on Paille. Toulago furthermore took 6th place in a 150 cm class. Caretina de Joter also delivered an impressive performance . This fabulous mare has already teamed up well with Pius Schwizer. On Saturday night the new combination enjoyed a fine second place in the Gothenburg Trophy. And last but not least it was Anisette de Lassus who made Pius Schwizer’s stay in Sweden just perfect. With the chestnut mare he missed out on victory on Sunday morning in the 145 cm class against the clock just by the tiny margin of 0.18 second. Next stop: CSI 5* Al Shaqab in Doha (Qatar).
