(2.7.2017) Pius Schwizer and his horses were in great shape at the second consecutive national show, this time in Poliez-Pittet. They collected three wins and nine good placings in three days. With About A Dream he won the 145 cm class in a fast jump-off. Uderzo de Rance took another white ribbon at level 140 cm and a fine ninth place in a 145 cm competition. Tina de l’Yserand was also very successful in the ring. The mare achieved one win in a 135 cm class and two second places over 130 and 140 cm. Chidame Z was third twice in the 140 and 145 cm classes, and the new horse Caruso Enrico was placed fourth in the 130 cm competition. Balou Rubin R was third in his only competition over 140 cm. In the Grand Prix Pius Schwizer was placed with both his horses. Unfortunately Leonard de la Ferme CH who jumped amazingly, had a pole down at the very last fence in the jump-off and still took sixth place. The time would have been fast enough for the win. Belcanto III had the fastest four points round in the initial GP round and was placed thirteenth. „It’s obvious that we have many great young horses. I am sure some of them will make it to the top.“ – A special success for Pius Schwizer was Ulysse’s second place in the Derby, ridden by his wife Florence. „Even at the age of 20, Ulysse is still a star!”
