6th place in Grand Prix Gent with new horse Ailina 6

(28.2.2016) The CSI 2* in Gent (Belgium) was the first competition for Pius Schwizer with his new mare Ailina 6. Right away the new combination harmonized well. In the difficult Grand Prix – with only seven clear rounds in the field of 61 riders – they qualified for the jump-off. With a fast time and one fault they took the good sixth place. This main class was won by Pieter Devos and Apart. „Ailina is a very good horse, she is careful and has a lot of potential.“ Back under the saddle of Pius Schwizer is PSG Junior. Aboard the ten year old Oldenburg gelding he produced strong and fast rides, they were just lacking a little bit of luck. Many prominent names were to find in the starting lists of the show. „The organizers did a good job, but competitions with almost 100 riders, that’s overkill, the classes lasted too long.“ – Next stop will be CSI 5* in Doha Al Shaqab: „I am happy that Tarioso Manciais and Leonard de la Ferme have already arrived well in Doha.”
