(20.3.2016) Pius Schwizer competed with Leonard de la Ferme CH und Chellatus R at the five star show in Paris’ Grand Palais. Leonard won the opening class, producing a fast clear round. He also came third in a 150 cm competition. Chellatus R was in action twice. In Friday’s 150 cm class he was fast and clear – until the very last obstacle where unfortunately a pole fell. The time would have been good enough for the win. In the Grand Prix – won by Abdelkebir Quaddar on Quickly de Kreisker – it did not go to plan and Pius Schwizer decided to retire. “What a beautiful show in Paris! My horses did well here, except today. After three faults in the GP I gave up without really understanding why the horse did not jump well after having a break on Saturday. – Now it’s off to Spain for another two weeks in Oliva Nova. The Schwizer Team is already there – with Deborah Lazzarotto and Florence Seydoux riding successfully so far. Today Florence took a fine twelfth place in the 2* GP aboard Starlette de Maillet. The team still has a lot to ride and to achieve as they are there with a total of 18 horses.
