Fragance and Castiel were in the spotlight in Bourg-en-Bresse (May 17-21, 2023). Castiel, a 9-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Casalito x Clearway) competing in his first 4*, took the 4th place in a 1.40 m class. With his excellent technique and natural speed, he is undoubtedly a real cartridge for the future. Fragance, meanwhile, was competing in the 2* category and took an excellent 6th place in a 1m40 class. This augurs well for the future, as she is just starting out at this level of competition.

Back in Switzerland, Pius took part in the national competition in Zug (May 27 and 29, 2023), where Castiel won another 1m40 class. Sindy von Worrenberg was also placed in a 1m20 while Cassitaro took 2nd place in the 1m25. Quilana Denfer, newly under the saddle of Pius, completed two working rounds in preparation for the CSIO in St. Gallen.
