(7.6.2015) It’s only three weeks since Living The Dream has joined Pius Schwizer’s stable. In the Grand Prix of Switzerland the new pairing managed to perform well, but a mistake at the very last fence meant 19th place in this top class field. Only the thirteen best riders were allowed to compete in the second round. However, Pius Schwizer still had reasons for joy: „Living The Dream is a super horse. We just need two more shows before we really know each other.“ It was his compatriot Romain Duguet who celebrated a well-deserved Grand Prix victory with his mare Quorida de Treho. Second came Steve Guerdat aboard Nino des Buissonnets. – The last two days in St. Gallen were quite successful for Pius Schwizer: He took 2nd place with PSG Junior in the Accumulator with joker, and with Amira he was placed 9th in a 150cm class with jump-off. „Junior has developped very well, he is a promising horse for the future. Amira has suffered here a bit because of the heat.“ The event in St. Gallen was rounded off by the Generations Team Trophy. Ten invited juniors / young riders built a team with an international rider. The experienced cracks commentated the rides of their young team partners. Pius Schwizer with PSG Junior partnered by Vladya Reverdin took the win. „She is a student of Willi Melliger and showed a very good performance here. I enjoyed this competition and had fun“, Pius Schwizer said. Steve Guerdat/Simone Buhofer were in 2nd place, Daniel Etter/Henri Sturzenegger came third.
