(9.4.2016) Miami Beach offered a spectacular scene to the Global Champions Tour’s season opener. Pius Schwizer took the second spot on Balou Rubin R in Friday’s fast 150 cm competition. Unfortunately Leonard de la Ferme CH was a bit unlucky and couldn’t get a clear round this time. “He has never been at ease here. The arena is quite tricky, there are a lot of unusual things to see. I hope, ha has learnt something from this experience”, Pius Schwizer said. In the Grand Prix Leonard jumped well, but had mistakes on every element of the triple combination lying in the shade of the VIP area. The fastest of the six pairs in the jump-off was Edwina Tops-Alexander and Lintea Tequila. – As from next Friday the GCT will see a new destination: Mexico City.
