First World Cup Grand Prix for Casallino in Verona

Pius received a wild card for the third leg of the Western European League of the FEI Jumping World Cup which was held in Verona.

He had only one chance to qualify for the World Cup Grand Prix on Friday, which was done thanks to the great 8th place of WH Delilah in the 1m55 class with jump-off. Delilah brought home one more ribbon by reaching the 12th place of Sunday’s 1m45 class.

Bakatina de Beaufour continued to gain experience at this level and jumped some good rounds in classes over 1m50-1m55.

Casallino did not start the show very well as he was quite impressed by the special atmosphere of the Italian arena, but jumped a nice clear round rewarded with a 13th place in Saturday’s 1m50 class. He also made his debut at the World Cup level on Sunday and, with only two small mistakes, we can say that the future looks bright.
