(24.5.2015) In Rome Pius Schwizer rode his new horse Living The Dream for the first time. The debut with the 10 year old Belgian gelding went well. The new couple was placed eleventh on Saturday in the „small“ Grand Prix 150-155 cm. After a nice clear round they had a small fault in the jump-off. Already in the Two Phases they had been clear at the fences. Furthermore Pius Schwizer was fourth with Baros in a 145 cm class. Newton du Haut Bois was seventh in the 150 cm Table C and ninth in a 145cm class. „Rome is a good event with a nice setting, but the prize money is rather modest here“, Pius Schwizer said, after having missed out on the qualification for the Grand Prix. – In the Nations Cup the Swiss team with Jane Richard Philips (Pablo de Virton), Niklaus Rutschi (Windsor XV), Janika Sprunger (Bonne Chance Cw) and Steve Guerdat (Corbinian) took fifth place. Great Britain was the winning nation. Pius Schwizer will join the Swiss team for the first time this year at CSIO Switzerland in St. Gallen (from 4th till 7th June). Switzerland has chosen St. Gallen, Falsterbo, Hickstead and Dublin as their four events counting for points in the Nations Cup classification.
