CSI Crans-Montana: Young horses better and better

(30.7.2017) In Crans-Montana, beautiful three star show in the Swiss Alps,  Pius Schwizer was in action with three hopeful young horses. With Chidame Z he had a strong clear round and took second place  in the 145 cm world ranking class. „Chidame Z showed on Saturday that her potential is huge. This mare is just pure class!“ Tina de l’Yserand had returned to the show ring after a break. And also achieved a second place in a 135 cm competition. „She now needs to do a few courses, in order to acquire routine.“ The eight year old mare About A Dream is also a promise for the future. The talented mare jumped the 150 cm Grand Prix well and collected eight points. „She is a real cracker! She still needs – just like the other young horses – gain more experience. Particularly in such special arenas like this one. The event in Crans-Montana was a very nice one. And when it comes to me… of course, I would want to win a bit more…” For now it’s important to be patient and to invest in the build-up of the talented young horses. – The Grand Prix was won by Barbara Schnieper riding the mare For Winja CH. The Swiss rider is regularly trained by Pius Schwizer.
