(23.4.2017) Pius Schwizer achieved several top results in Eschweiler (Germany). Aboard Electric Z he won the opening class and took 2nd place in the spectacular Masters which was held under floodlight. The nine year old mare was absolutely impressive. She showed great coolness and lots of scope. Electric Z stayed five times clear while the fences got higher and higher up to 165 cm. Three riders made it into the fifth jump-off. And as Pius Schwizer had to go first he was forced to take some risks. And it was at the very last fence, a massive oxer after a sharp turn, where a rail fell. Anyway, second place just behind the winner Alexa Stais with Chacco Top means a very strong performance. – This also goes for the eight year old Cortney-Cox 2: In his very first 150 cm competition – the GP qualification – the talented chestnut gelding was third. Furthermore Balou Rubin R took a fine seventh place in the Grand Prix. The jump-off was highly competitive with eleven riders. Bertram Allen and Gk Casper were the happy winners. „All my horses jumped very well. This is a beautiful and well organized show“, Pius Schwizer said. – Next stop: CSIO Lummen where the first Nation’s Cup of the new season will be held.
