(17.4.2015) Unfortunately Pius Schwizer and Toulago experienced a rather disappointing start to the World Cup Final in Las Vegas. They had two faults in the first competiton (speed and handiness 150cm) and are now in 24th place with 17 Final points. “I am a bit disappointed. This arena is rather small and the ground is different, very “sandy”. Not the conditions that suit my big horse. But we won’t give up and keep on fighting”, Pius Schwizer said. – Young Irishman Bertram Allen is in the lead with his grey mare Molly Malone V (41), in front of Rich Fellers (USA) with Flexible (39) and two riders equal on points: Patrice Delaveau (FRA) with Orient Express and Jur Vrieling (NED) with Zirocco Blue (38). The two other Swiss participants, Steve Guerdat with Paille and Martin Fuchs with PSG Future, both had a clear round and are now in 5th and 7th position. The World Cup Final will be continued tonight at 7.15 p.m. Next task: A 150-160cm competition with one jump-off.
