Ups and downs in ‘s-Hertogenbosch

As the largest indoor show in the Netherlands, The Dutch Masters (Indoor Brabant Horse Show) has already stood for top-class equestrian sport for half a century. Pius was competing in this beautiful leg of the Rolex Grand Slam with Casallino, Bakatina de Beaufour and Gin Fizz DS. Casallino was unfortunately not very fit this weekend and did not produce the expected results. Gin Fizz DS, in which he has great hopes for the future, was easily flying over the 1m60 fences of the 5* Grand Prix, but Pius decided to give up after a misunderstanding in the triple combination. Fortunately, Bakatina was the best in Sunday’s 145 class. This victory was a nice consolation after this difficult week.
