(26.03.2018) The first leg of the Global Champions Tour took place in Mexico this weekend. Pius Schwizer is very thankful that he could take part to this show thanks to the Shanghai Swans. The luck was not on his side at the beginning of the show, because Chidame was not fit (cough and fever) and Balou was so excited that he was not very focused. It went much better after the second day of competition: Balou won the GP qualifier 1m50-1m60 as well as the 1m50 class on Sunday. Chidame jumped every day better and seemed to recover from the flu she caught in the flight. Pius now looks forward to competing in Mexico where the conditions are totally different: a small sand arena located on the seaside. He hopes that his horses will feel good in Miami and above all that they will arrive on form.
