(10.1.2016) The season opener in the St. Jakobshalle Basel was again a tough place for the Swiss riders. They could not take a single win. At this first five star show of the year Pius Schwizer rode PSG Future, Leonard de la Ferme CH and for the first time Chellatus R. With the dark bay stallion he got two 6th places at level 140 and 145 cm. „Chellatus did very well, he just needs to get a bit more power.“ Another 6th place he took with the promising gelding Leonard de la Ferme CH, in the fast Speed and Handiness class. – Once more no Swiss pair could jump to victory in the Grand Prix. Last year it was Luciana Diniz on Fit For Fun who won, this time German rider Christian Ahlmann and Codex won was the best combination. Pius Schwizer and PSG Future started well, nevertheless they had a pole of an oxer and the white plank down. „Future was jumping very well. He gave me a super feeling. Despite this we did not manage to stay clear here. Only two or three small things still need to be connected between us.“ – Next stop will be the World Cup event in Leizpig. Pius Schwizer will give his best to gain more World Cup points there.
