From November 24 to December 4, I spent two weeks in Italy, where I had a very successful competition.
Pinky Pie de Libersart placed first and second in the 7-year-old classes in the first week and finished second in the Grand Prix for 7-year-olds. In the second week, she won all the classes she competed in, including the Grand Prix for 7 year old horses. She is definitely a future star!
Casallino won a 1.45m ranking class in the first week and took a good third place in the Grand Prix 2*. He also jumped very well the second week, but unfortunately made a small mistake in the Grand Prix 2*.
Bakatina de Beaufour only jumped the first week. She was very fast in the 1.40 m classes, but a fault in each course deprived her of the victory twice.
Jardessa was a bit impressed with the arena and its impressive obstacles in the first week. But she made up for it in the second week by finishing second in a 1.35m class and eleventh in the small Grand Prix at 1.40m. This mare has a lot of potential and I am convinced that in 2023, we will still have great days ahead of us!
Uletta only jumped in the second week and has gained experience in 1.40m classes.
Nikita van de Vlasbloemhoeve, that I was riding for the first time, got a good third place in a 1.30m class.
Vancouver de Lanlore, who took a short break after his many great performances during the season, did a working round in a 1.40m class and got an excellent second place on Friday in the 1.45m ranking class.
