(4.9.2016) Pius Schwizer rode Balou Rubin R in the Swiss Cup Final. So far he has won this prestigous class five times. This means he is the record holder, together with Markus Fuchs. In Humlikon he almost won it for the sixth time… In the jump-off he stayed clear again, but Martin Fuchs on Coriano Carthago managed to be a little bit faster. Anyhow, a nice victory he took aboard his young crack Lester IX in a 135 cm class. The eight year old Oldenburg gelding was also placed sixth in the 145 cm final and sixth in a 130 cm class. Askaria 3 was in action in the big tour. The chestnut mare was tenth in the 150 cm competition and unfortunately had eight points in the 155 cm Grand Prix. „All my horses and riders were in very good form“, Pius Schwizer said. „Arnaud won the 1* Grand Prix with Electric Z, and as well Florence, Sabrina and Kay managed to have some super rounds. As every year Paul Freimueller’s show was perfectly organized.”
