Great results in the South of France

Pius was competing in South of France from 24th of February to 6th of March 2022.

1st week

The promising Gin Fizz DS jumped a working round in the 135 class on Thursday and finished then at the 13th place of the 2* Grand Prix due to one unlucky rail in the normal course.

Casallino had a great first week bringing home two ribbons: a 3d place in the 145 class and a win in Sunday’s 140 class.

Trinity d’I, a swiss mare that Pius was riding for the first time, jumped some good rounds in the 140-145 class and was even placed one time in a 140 class.

Pius big hope Pinky Pie de Libersart did not touch a fence and achieved two top results: a 1st and a 2nd place in the 7 y/o classes.

2nd week

Despite a very good round and an 8th place in the first Grand Prix qualifier, the luck was again not on the side of Gin Fizz DS, who took this time the 14th place of the Grand Prix thanks to a very fast round but one rail again.

Casallino took the 3d place of the first 140 class but was a little bit tired at the end of the week and did not jump as well as usual.

Trinity had a perfect week and was placed in all the classes she took part: 5th in the 130 class, 10th in the 135 class and 4th in Sunday’s 140 class.

Pinky Pie did again an amazing job and even won the 7 y/o finale on Friday after a top 4 finish the day before.
