GCT Paris: Placings with PSG Future and Quasimodo VII

(3.7.2016) Paris was the tenth leg of the Global Champions Tour. Pius Schwizer had some nice rounds with PSG Future and new horse Quasimodo VII, but was a bit unfortunate and therefore deprived of top results. Anyhow the experiences made are promising for the near future. PSG Future was in very good form already at his second show after his competition break. „He jumped super. And the way he is moving is just fantastic”, Pius Schwizer said. They took a fine eighth place in the 145 cm opening class. Unfortunately they had their round in the Grand Prix under heavy rain and had two faults. On Sunday they were doing great in the 155 cm class, but towards the end of the course they had one pole down after a light touch. – For the first time Pius Schwizer rode his new horse Quasimodo VII. The twelve year old Westfalian gelding is owned by Willi Melliger. And the horse proved his jumping ability. In the Six Barres they reached the third jump-off and took a good seventh place.  „Quasimodo is a gentle, rather special horse. He just needs to gain more confidence and stamina. That’s what we will be working on.”
