(11.6.2016) In Cannes, eighth leg of the Global Champions Tour, Pius Schwizer rode Leonard de la Ferme CH in the Grand Prix and the nine year old Balou Rubin R in the medium classes. Balou Rubin R managed to take second place in the 145cm competition on Friday by producing a stunning fast clear round. Leonard de la Ferme CH was underway in great style in the very demanding Grand Prix, but the triple combination was very narrow for the big horse and they had to accept two poles down at the second and third element. “Leonard and Balou still need to gain more experience – and both will prove that they are super horses.” Next show will be CSI 5* in Villach-Treffen, where Pius Schwizer won last year’s GP with PSG Future. In Monaco his top crack will stage a comeback after his break of several months.
