(15.01.2018) For the season opener in the St. Jakobshalle Basel was Pius Schwizer counting on About A Dream, Balou Rubin R and for the first time Balou Star. He took with him the 13th place of a 140 cm class. « I need to get to know Balou Star and he needs to get to know me. A lot of people are going to be surprised about what the small stallion can do ». Pius Schwizer could celebrate his first victory of 2018 in a 150 cm class with Balou Rubin R. Balou Rubin R also finished 8th in a 145 cm class. « Balou Rubin R is as always simply so motivated and reliable. I like him a lot ». He was also very successful with the very promising and only 9 years old mare About A Dream. He took the great 5th place of the Championat of Stadt Basel over 155 cm and also the 13th place of the 160 cm Longines Grand Prix, which meant the first ever 5* Grand Prix placing of the young mare. « About A Dream jumped great and I’m totally convinced that she will become a super star. I congratulate Martin Fuchs and Werner Muff for their one-two Grand Prix victory ».
Next stop will be CSI 5* in Zurich.
