Davidoff v. Schlösslihof jumps to victory in Bordeaux

(7.2.2016) The dream of a last minute qualification for the World Cup final did not come true for Pius Schwizer in Bordeaux. After a good first part of the course PSG Future put down the first vertical of the triple combination. „I had a great feeling with PSG Future. But when approaching the triple combination he looked too far ahead and did not see the first fence“, Pius Schwizer described his misfortune after which he decided to retire. „Nevertheless I do know that the horse is in good shape and mood. He will compete in Hong Kong in two weeks.“ The World Cup win was claimed by Kevin Staut aboard Reveur de Hurtebise HDC. – Pius Schwizer as well was victorious in Bordeaux: Riding the Swiss stallion Davidoff v. Schlösslihof he was the fastest in the Speed and Handiess World Ranking class. – Selle Français Tarioso Manciais took on the challenge of his first ever 160cm Grand Prix with Pius Schwizer. The course was tricky and only saw seven clear rounds. Schwizer and the nine year old gelding, owned by the Hauri Family, had two poles down, and it was obvious that horse and rider are already a good team. „Tarioso suits me very well. This was the most difficult course he has done so far. His previous rider Adelaide Lauité has done some good work with him. Now it is my job and honour to produce him as Grand Prix horse.”
