CSI Vermezzo: Leonard wins world ranking class

(27.11.2016) Pius Schwizer competed at the CSI 3* in Vermezzo (Italy) with Leonard de la Ferme CH, Balou Rubin R and his new horse, the experienced Westfalian stallion Contifex. On Leonard de la Ferme CH he managed to win a world ranking class and took a fine eight place in a 150 cm class with eighty competitors. “Leo is a super and very versatile horse.” Right from the first show Pius Schwizer worked well together with Contifex. The new couple was placed at level 140 cm. “Contifex is a very good horse, being a sensitive Cornet stallion he needs some special feeling for him.” The Grand Prix with Balou Rubin R did not go as planned, they collected twelve points in this demanding class which was won by Paul Estermann and Lord Pepsi. “Balou needs a few more indoor starts and then he will win again.” The next show will be the Longines Masters in Paris.
