CSI Geneva: Bitter streak of bad luck

(13.12.2015) Pius Schwizer had a tough time at the World Cup show in Geneva. Portland du Ter, a horse owned by François Vorpe, was foreseen to take on the challenges of the Six Barres but unfortunately suffered a bruised hoof on Wednesday. Giovanni van het Scheefkasteel stumbled after a landing in the 145cm class on Thursday. And from then on did not seem at ease while jumping. „The chestnut stallion will be checked by our vet next Tuesday“, Pius Schwizer said. With PSG Future he had a good start and took the eleventh place in the Credit Suisse Grand Prix, but after that nothing went as desired anymore. It was Steve Guerdat aboard Nino des Buissonnets  who clinched the big victory in the Grand Prix. – Next stop: The World Cup event in London-Olympia: „I am planning to ride the horses PSG Future, PSG Junior and Leonard de la Ferme CH.“
