CSI 5* St. Moritz: Sole record holder in the Swiss Cup

(20.8.2017) Pius Schwizer enjoyed a very successful five star show in St. Moritz. With Balou Rubin R he won a 145cm World Ranking class, with Leonard de la Ferme CH he took 2nd place in a 150 cm competition and with  Belcanto III he also achieved top results: 2nd place/140 cm and 9th Place/145 cm. In the Grand Prix he delivered a super round on Leonard de la Ferme CH, unfortunately one pole fell at vertical number five. Coming home in thirteenth position meant being the first non-placed rider. – The highlight was his win with Uderzo de Rance in the Swiss Cup Final over two rounds. It was Pius Schwizer’s sixth win in his eighth participation – and now he is the sole record winner in this traditionally highly competitive event. Five times winner Markus Fuchs who retired in 2009 has now been left behing in second position. “It was a demanding final, but Uderzo is a fast and careful horse. I believed in my chance and seized it”, a very happy Pius Schwizer said. – The Klushof team was also successful in the 2* CSI. Florence Schwizer-Seydoux and Arnaud Martin managed to achieve several top placings.
