(5.3.2017) Pius Schwizer competed at the five star event in Doha with Balou Rubin R and young crack Lester IX. His beautifully ridden courses were rewarded with several great placings. He took third place in the fast 150 cm class with Balou Rubin R, it was a very tight decision between the best pairs. This also goes for the 145 cm Table C class, producing the best time overall but having one pole down they achieved 7th place. Nine year old Lester IX impressed with great scope and a super attitude. The bay Oldenburg gelding went clear in the 145 cm and 150 cm classes where he took 7th place twice. In the big Grand Prix it did not go as desired. „Like many horses he spooked at the rather special plank combination. Lester is still young and he will learn this soon“, Pius Schwizer said.
